This is a selection of artworks that I have chossen based on my visit and brief on the client´s requests of color, impact and mood; and in accordance with the furnishings and possible location of each artwork. The following pieces or ideas, in my perspective, streamline around turquoise and blues.

ARTWORK: Regatta, three sailboats & Talavera

A piece that can also work above the tube, it complements the colors of the talavera tiles, has the local theme of sea and sailing, and the presence of golds and ocres enhace the blues and touches of turquoise in the sea. It is mounted on a hand painted silver gilded frame and measures aprox. 50 by 50 inches.

"Talavera Jar"-It measures aprox 20 by 36 inches.

This piece could also work by the entrance of the condo.

ARTWORK: The depth of the open sea

This is the piece I created with the space between the windows, in the dinning-living room area. It has glaze and white lusters, between the blues, turquoises and greens, that appear and desappear as you view the piece from different directions; simulating the white wash of the waves when you are in open sea. It measures 80 by 30 inches.

ARTWORK: Repainted Panels

These are the repainted prints that were in the toilet room. I still have to work on a few details, but the rough composition is there. Three of this in a vertical line would look great, as you glance through the mirror.

ARTWORK: Red Shells>fossils and sand

This triptych can work inside the toilet of the master bedroom, or separated and place two pieces alongside the bathroom closets and another piece for the toilet (the re-painted ones that were there before).

ARTWORK: bird´s eye view of the sea with sailboats

Small pieces, 12 by 12 inches each, oil with varnish. This could be place one on each side between the bathroom closets and the sinks.

Another option can include the following sailboats on one side (men´s side) and the previous ones or two aquatic orchids on the other side (woman´s side).

ARTWORK: New Seascapes

Oil on wood, 48 x 32 in, 2011.

ARTWORK: Shrubs by the sea

This is a small piece mounted on a silver leaf plein air frame, with a turquoise tint as part of the artwork. It measures 16 x 14 inches aprox. Several of this pieces, or in a square format, may work in the bathroom. I have other similar pieces in a range of colors.
(This piece is currently available)

ARTWORK: Stained-glass CIRCLES

Two "loose" circular pieces that are one of a kind, created in the traditional stained-glass window technique. They have a mediative laberinth-mandala type of geometry. They measure almost 25 inches in diameter and could be hung on the wall or mounted on a base to be place by the window or in the terrace, or repurpose as "lamps".

Yellow Blue

Red Turquoise

Example of the possible look with a base. I envision, instead of gears and mechanical parts, a softer forged iron stand.

ARTWORK: Paper Boat sailing into port

Oil on wood, 48 by 48 inches, 2010

ARTWORK: Plancton

Two medium pieces, 27.5 x 31 inches, titled "Plancton", that work together as a diptych, either vertical or horizontally, or as individual separate pieces. (These pieces are available)

ARTWORK: RAINING, behind the windows

Diptych measuring 48 x 72 inches, oil on wood, 2010
(This piece is currently available)

A digital montage to get a sense of the piece in the space.
THE ACTUAL SIZE OF THE PIECE IN REALATION TO SPACE MAY VARY.

IDEA: Bouncing Marbles

I am currently working of a piece with a similar shape and the two "turquoise" images as reference.

IDEA: Land/seascape

This piece brings some of the colors of the bedding into the bathroom creating a natural visual flow. Also this style, with some color variations and in a square format can work in the kitchen.

--Icarus by the sea, oil on wood, 2008, private collection.

Possible look in the kitchen

IDEA: aquatic orquid, master bathroom

This is a set of four pieces, "aquatic orquids", that arrange in a vertical way may work in the narrow walls next to the closets, at the entrance of the bathroom.

And similar larger pieces can work next to the toilet, in the area that is seen from the mirror, or a composite of smaller pieces put together in a "tile way" like the image below.

Private collection.

ARTWORK: calm motion, PANGAS

Sea scape with "pangas" (small fishing boats), oil on wood with metal frame, 36 by 36 inches
(This piece is currently available)

example >>COLOR and MOOD ADJUSTMENTS

In this case, due to the room´s lighting and the color scheme of the decor changes were made to create a more lively, colorfull piece with a higher contrast based on complementary colors. The central image of the Palmilla Chapel was kept almost the same, just the addition of some color to integrated to the piece.

example >>COLOR ADJUSTMENTS

This is a painting chossen for a master bedroom but it was not quite in accordance with the color scheme of the interior design. I was presented with several elements of the decoration, rugs, pillows, bedding, etc, and fabric swatches to make the color shift of the painting towards the oxide reds and the greyish teal blues.
